There was a shock return for Landon Donovan who has come out of retirement just at the right time to save LA Galaxy as they struggle in… erm 2nd place in the league. Super Mario is back in the headlines after a superb brace for new club Nice but will it be a different story this time around or same again for the troublesome Italian. And finally everyone’s favourite manager, Steve McLaren is heading back to school. No not to learn how to manage but instead to learn how to run your football club from the boardroom. Yikes.
